Today we live in a society where, in many areas, we hardly get to see our neighbours, let alone socialise with them. And how often have you wanted to have a say but didn’t think anyone would really listen to you?

The Lingham Tenants and Residents’ Association is made up of local residents who represent the interests of everyone living in our area. The Association will play a very valuable and important part in dealing with problems that people come up against.

Residents’ Associations are set up for everyone to join. Membership is open to all local residents. Groups do not discriminate against members of the community because of race, age, sex, disability, religion or class.

The Association will also organise social events which help to bring people together; particularly those who are socially excluded because of ill-health, low incomes, language and cultural differences or old age.

The Lingham Tenants’ and Residents’ association will provide a collective voice for people who live in the same area regardless of whether they have a landlord or are owner occupiers.

We will work together to improve housing and environmental standards in our neighbourhood and increase a sense of community.
